Resume Tips for Joby Aviation
Joby is certifying a novel aircraft under FAA Part 23 (modified for powered-lift). If you have aircraft certification experience, it's your biggest differentiator.
Highlight experience with electric propulsion, battery systems, power electronics, or high-voltage aircraft systems.
Show experience with composite manufacturing at scale. Joby needs to produce thousands of aircraft, not just prototypes.
If you have fly-by-wire, flight control law design, or redundancy management experience, lead with it. eVTOL flight controls are complex.
Mention experience with noise reduction, acoustic engineering, or community acceptance. eVTOLs need to operate in urban areas without noise complaints.
Show experience with manufacturing scale-up. Joby is transitioning from prototype to production, and that's a massive engineering challenge.
